Lijing Zhao

I am Lijing, a PhD student in the plant biology graduate group (PBGG). I joined the Meyers lab in May 2024. Before coming to UC Davis, I received master's degrees in plant pathology and ecology from Ohio State University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, respectively, and a bachelor's degree in plant biotechnology from Jilin University in China. In the Meyers lab, I will focus on reproductive phasiRNAs to better understand their functions and regulatory mechanisms in plant reproduction. I enjoy playing the keyboard, traveling, hiking, and bouldering in my spare time.
