Julie Pelletier

Before joining the Meyers lab family in March 2024 as Lab Manager and Staff 
Researcher, I spent most of my scientific career in Dr John Harada’s lab at UC Davis,
studying the molecular mechanisms controlling seed development in Arabidopsis 
and soybean. I earned a B.S. in Agronomy, followed by a M.Sc. in Plant Biology from
Laval University, Québec. Outside the lab, I am either at home, cooking and baking 
bread for family and friends, riding my bike through the surrounding countryside, or 
in nature -preferably in the mountains – skiing, hiking, or camping.
