Daisy Montero

I joined the Meyers lab in January of 2025 as an undergraduate research assistant. I have been working with Ximena studying male fertility in maize and its correlation to small RNAs present before meiosis. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Genomics. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, trying new foods, crocheting and singing.
